Cycle Challenge 2013

The Ride for a Purpose campaign has proven to provide an incomparable platform for cyclists to create awareness about personal causes that are close to their hearts.

The Us4You Foundation had a team of 25 cycling in the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge to raise funds to build a school in Soshanguve. The 94.7 Cycle Challenge took place on 17 November 2013.

Thank you to all our sponsors and cyclists! You helped raise R23 288.50!

A little background: Plastic View School in Soshanguve was originally based at a dumping site, which became unsafe for the kids. The community members decided to relocate the school to a house in the area, but it’s still not up to standard. The Us4You Foundation is currently in the process of securing land. Once the land sale is processed, we will build a new, fully functional school for these kids. The new school will adhere to the standards of the Department of Social Services. The total cost of the project will be R400 000.
